What an incredibly gorgeous wedding this was in Hutchinson, Kansas. Katelynn ensured that every detail was done to the T, and her creativity showed through on her and Seth’s day. 😊
October 1st was much hotter than a typical autumn day normally would be, but the weather was still incredibly gorgeous and promising for an outdoor wedding. Kansas has grown on me so much over the past couple years and I’ve come to love the wide open sky and the land in all its flat but vast glory. It has its gems and Hidden Valley Downs is one of them! What use to be a horse racing track back in its glory days has found a new purpose as a wedding venue and it is absolutely gorgeous. There are so many options for ceremony locations and some great shade from the locust trees, which as we all know is a necessity in these Kansas summers!
I think my favorite part of every wedding is the portraits we carve out time for of just the bride and groom. Its always so much fun to give them the time to connect if only for a brief time before they head into the reception. The laughs, the smiles and playfulness of Katelynn and Seth was so much fun to photograph and give to them in images for the years to come.🥰
